About
Nadia Matta received her Master of Social Work degree from The University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. During her first semester, she became one of 60 students nationally to receive a full scholarship from the Obama administration for students learning clinical social work.
Her graduate school internship and first post-graduate job were working with the Native American community in Detroit, where clients were given funding for substance use treatment through a program called Access to Recovery. She provided therapy to clients and assisted with placement at inpatient centers while continuing ongoing care throughout their inpatient stay and afterward.
Nadia currently works in a group practice and treats clients with substance use disorders and other mental and behavioral health issues.
