Types of ConnectiCare Insurance Plans

ConnectiCare offers insurance plans for individuals, families, and businesses. 2 The 2 main categories for individual plans are Access Health CT Plans and Solo Plans. 3,2

Access Health CT Plans

These plans are offered through the state health insurance marketplace. When you select one of these plans, you will choose from the many doctors available and have the option to participate in virtual appointments. The Access CT plans have different metal levels, depending on which one you select. The 3 metal levels are Gold, Silver, and Bronze. The Gold level plans pay an average of 80% of covered services, the Silver an average of 70%, and the Bronze an average of 60%.4

Passage Plan: With this plan, you select a doctor who accepts Passage, and they will help coordinate care. Additionally, the primary care practitioner will refer you to specialists as needed. With the Passage plan, you only have the Bronze level metal option. 4

Choice Plans: These plans work with the various metal levels and allow you to choose providers, hospitals, and facilities in-network. The network covers Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island. Within the Choice health plan, the following options are available:4
